I got this great Fall Witchwood DVD in a trade some years back.
An often very funny gig (MES and Nev Wilding trying to push each other over)
from a transient 2000 Fall linup. Hanley, Brix, Scanlon and Burns are long gone,
but this is still great in an alternative Fall type of way. A sort of hi energy
garage rock version of the Fall, the band are really good- even if at times it
all seems to threaten to unravel. Not all of the gig is videoed, all of the songs
played are there, but some songs cut short etc.Hence the short time of 37 minutes.
Dont let that put you off though, this is an exceptional audience capture with
great closeups. Thanks to the cameraman,he deserves a medal.
