CIII-TV - Global News at 5:30 - November 2005

Leslie "Toronto Roberts" anchors the 5:30 edition of Global News on Global Ontario. This was shortly before the 5:30 news was dropped and Global National moved to 5:30.

Global Edmonton used this particular cut for one of its newscasts (can't remember which, probably 5pm or 5.30pm), and used the regular version of the theme for the other bulletins.

The begining part of the theme reminded me og the begining of the Werner Bro's "Merry Melodies" cartoons with Porky Pig.
