I saw Helix at the Concert Hall in Toronto in 83 for their "Ain't No Rest For The Wicked" album tour (if I remember correctly they were backing up Motorhead). I was already a fan, but that show was one of the best energetic rocking shows I've ever seen an entry band do (and I've seen many growing in Toronto). I was privileged to have seen them in their early days in a smaller venue. True rockers!

brian Vollmer is one of the true rock and roll voices of the past century. i feel so good having seenn him in Finland in the late 80's. those days, and today the canadians were the true rockers. Triumph Rush and Dwarfs all the way.

HAHA! Rob your the shit homie! D
Great band, great wife.
I saw Helix in Alrosa villa in 1983 shorty before I returned to live in Germany and work as a civilian on aircraft. When I got back, there were posters everywhere you went with KISS playing and Helix opening. After talking to them at Columbus for a while we left friends. In Germany he freaked out seeing me there in the same spot as in Columbus. I showed him a sign. They came over and gave me passes for after the show. I met with them AND KISS. Great music w/Helix.
