I've used Poser to make some nice rendered clips but it takes forever to set up. it really depends what you want to use iClone for. Previz and animatics Iclone. Machinima IClone again. Above Poser and Daz studio is Maya. You can check my page for some Poser stuff as well as the Mike Jones Animated video.

I just upgraded to CT 5 and iClone 2.5 so I read that the CT5 does not work with iC 2.5. I Need to lip sync a music video. Can you direct me to a workflow. Should I do the lip sync in CT4 transfer that to iC2.5 then transfer the CT4 to CT5 so I can get the interactive puppeting and other features for closeups in CT5? Thanks

ya i know but ive seen iclones movies and they arent the best. i donno i guess i just want to get a different program

Thanks for this. I've actually just been getting a handle on using crazy talk to really "act" (vs. pre-programmed emotions). It will be cool to transfer this to iClone

i want to get iclone to make movies and all that but i always thought the graphics were better then this.. :(

Hi Lpfann, iClone let's you decide what type of graphics to use for the facial creation. You can use a real photo or, like in this case use an image of a cartoon-like face. Any JPG or BMP can become a face in iClone.
