wow, he basically passed the puck to the goalie.

Why wouldnt you wana angle your stick? It will go on your stomach and then you will be able to keep the rebounds correctly, and your blocker will still be there for you it wont be super straight but you don't want it super straight either since then you can't controll the rebounds very good if you don't have the reflexes wich you won't have sometimes. Your glove should be more down for those shot's that go underneath it and put your gloves out more so you cover up more net!

I myself am a goalie and go to a professional goalie coach, for all confused about stick positioning i will give you some constructed advice, If the puck is more on the left side, or the right side, keep your blocking hand in close to your side in butterfly and just rotate your wrist into the pathway of the puck. This causes the puck to hit your stick and 99% of the time go airborne high into the mesh, stopping play. If the puck is directly five hole, you want your blade verticle.

@asta4125 yeah lol i played this team where the goalie used his stick as a ramp and caused like 3 unneccisary goals, also it would shoot over the net and make everyone super mad

Hey im a goalie and you must HAVE your stick with an ANGLE because it mack the puck hit the sttick and then redirect it on your chest protector so there you freeze the puck
once again..stupidest video ive ever seen.

@Ryann1795, Obviously you don't know what your talking about. First off you never want your stick on an angle because it can act like a ramp, and direct the shot right into the back of the net. You want your stick blade as straight up and down as possible to prevent the pucks from ramping off the stick. You can direct shots into the corners by angling this stick to the left or right....
Second, his blocker is fine, its close enough to his body..what do I know? I only played juniors......
