Tomiki Aikido London Yawara Jugokan Dojo with Sensei Ken Broome 7th Dan (& Omnia)

http://www.jugokan.com Tomiki Aikido in Tooting London. Training every Wed & Fri 7.30pm at Ernest Bevin College Beechcroft Road SW17. This shows part of a random training session starting off with the 1st few techniques of Koryu Dai San Kata(kneeling) followed by some free practice with a knife/Tanto.
Instructors include Sensei Broome (6th Dan), Steve Hogg (5th Dan), Gary Hogg (6th Dan), Taki-San (4th Dan),Andy Bunyan (4th Dan), also Will Valentine, Keith Shaw and Mark Wellington (2 Dan).

I train there and can honestly say its by far the best club in London, the guys who teach there have a combined experience of over 100 years! you can't buy that anywhere. New ideas and practices come and go in aikido but who can tell you why they change and who can remember how things were done 40 years ago!

@itachi123100 Hi, thanks for your comments. We do counter but depends on the resistance. This video shows kakarigeiko where there is no resistance to assist learning. In Tomiki competition tanto can only counter with 1-5 of randori no kata (you may know this already). In class we can be more flexible and both try and throw each other with whatever works best.

Tomikikai, are the same shaun that is on my training discs with ken?

Seen a few videos of Aiki, most look fake or set up to try to look good, this one looks real, their little mistakes and all.

It shows real randori, not some shuffling like old men and a partner flying around to make them look good!

Thanks for the video, keep it up, Ill be back to look again for more.

Glad to see that you have settled in at the Ernest Bevan, looks a nice dojo to train in.

Trained under the instruction of Ken Broome and Dr Lee Ah Loi for years. Ken was one of the best competitive aikidoka around. I would highly reconmend this club.
