I have a prius and get over 50 mpg and I flog it. How did this guy get 37 MPG?!

Was he using it to tow his big block Hemi he cant afford to fill.

I think Toyota is right with the suspension pakage as its the only short coming of the car when you hussle it.

With the petrol engine and electric engine pulling together its amazing the number of big engined cars you can suprise at the lights.

Just because its lean and green doesnt mean it cant be fun

    Prius 2010 - 51/48/50

    Prius 2004 - 48/45/46

    Insight 2010 - 40/43/41

    Smart 2009- 33/41/36

    Jetta Tdi 2009 - 29/40/33

    Fit 2009- 27/33/30

When you own one of these cars, except the last one, you no longer care how much gas is.

is it ok to set up HID bulbs both, in headlights and in fog lamps, in the Prius hybrid? I hope it doesnt effect the batteries, does it?

That is so true too! The torque provided from both the gas engine and electric motor (which is instant from the e.motor) The thing is, it's not the Prius that's slow, it's the way people drive them. So is the Prius fun-to-drive on a race track--probably not, but then how much of your driving is done on a race track? Is the Prius fun-to-drive in real traffic with lots of other cars, stoplights, and assorted crazies, YOU BETCHA!!

That's what I'm wondering... 37? I only get that when I'm going back and fourth from southern West Virginia to Wheeling averaging speeds of 85+mph.

Right now though, I've went 507 miles on this tank averaging 50.2mpg without really trying.

Your a idiot. A aurora 4.0 is a piece of shit period. Dont even compare it to a prius. I am a used car dealer and mechanic. I have owned and sold lots of cars. The hybrid systems dont need any attention. I sold a prius back in 2003. 250,000 km later it still runs and drives. Normal mateniance and nothing happened to the hybrid system. I myself own a gas guzzling car. But by you saying that your saving money with tht aurora you got to be kidding me ahaha.

Plus you're just one of those stupid Prius drivers that go 55 on the freeway. I bought an 2001 Oldsmobile aurora 4.0 for 4 thousand dollars, and all of the money you spend on the hybrid system, i use on gas. So I really end up spending less monry, and geting a pretty fast car and luxury. while you don't.

btw: you probobly dont know what an oldsmobile is because you only know two types of cars: Prius and gas guzzlers.
