  • I've used Vista on my computer (used for everything including gaming) for about a year now, and it works great!

So i must be the only one in the world that are satisfied with Vista because everyone i know, and everywhere i read, everybody hates it, so what have i done wrong? =)

  • I have got a Windows XP Netbook and another Windows 7 Netbook. And Windows XP is faster than Windows 7. But Windows 7 is fast too. I have heard that Windows Vista is slower than Windows 7. But not that slow. Are you sure the problem is not with your computer, which may be faulty? But Windows Vista looks exactly like Windows 7. So there is no point in me getting it as I have got Windows 7. Andrea Borman.

  • The speed depends on the processor, RAM etc.

  • I have windows 8 dev release m3 from tweaks.com boots up in a a sec lol

  • Vista is faster beacuse it is heavier, Xp doesn´t have as much resources to load. Disable graphic features in both computers an Vista will win, sorry.

  • the vista pc was tryin 2 boot from the cd b4 it started booted vista

  • Windows 7 is the best of all Windows

  • LEFT = XP,RIGHT = Vista

  • @EgenMusik ...plus me. I am very satisfied with Vista - and 7 - and now I just MISS Windows Vista so really fucking much!

  • @EgenMusik Vista is okay, but most people (such as myself) prefer something else. I have a computer with DOS and Windows 3.1 and it starts up faster than XP.

  • Its just that Vista really needs more than 1 gig of ram to run properly, at least 2, while xp needs only 128 mb. So obviously it runs slower on older computers. Otherwise Vista boots twice as fast as xp. It is somewhat slower when inside the os, but the difference is rarely noticeable anyway. As for security/features, Vista owns xp. Too bad its less customizeable tho =(
