Every person that purchases a shark product is responsible for this..meat of any kind doesn't just *happen* something dies terrified and in pain. And Tigerpuffer, you have high hopes of catching a shark but it will be released *unharmed*? here's a better idea that I'm sure the shark will appreciate more..leave them alone.

@DaniSixxxx what can i say thats nature, don't forget that humans are animals, we our omnivores, meat is nature part of our diet and it's not bad for you like hardcore vegans like to make people think. Animals can be killed in a humane way, fast death, the animals should not feel a thing. It is very sad to see how big companies treat animals for nothing more then to make a quick buck and using barbaric tactics to save money. Meat is a gift that should be respected, not treated like lumber.

I see your point. But what gets me..I am an Animal Lover, I have stopped eating meat for almost 2 years now. There is no humane way of killing an Animal. It's going to die regardless and you or whoever is going to eat it. How is that humanly? no argument here, just asking. :)

@DaniSixxxx iv watched it, there are acutally large factory farms in brazil that the world should take example by, they slaughter there animals humanly and there chickens are not cramped into cages and beaten, i'v seen many videos of american slaughter houses, americans always want to pay as little as possible, even if it means people or animals suffering for it, it's very sad. i don't disagree with eating meat but the animals should be treated with respect and killed humanly.

thats brutal, these sharks are being killed just finns, if your going to kill a shark to eat it, then you kill it humanly and use the whole thing, not fillet the poor thing while it's alive then throw it back in while it bleeds out in extreme pain. that would be like our factories stabbing a cow in the stomach and twisting the blade then let it bleed out for 15mins in extreme pain.
