[DONT USE BLACKRA1N TO JAILBREAK]-Blackra1n will kill your unlock possibly for ever (However, if you have a iPod Touch or a ligit sim and don't care about unlock, blackra1n is fine, but then after you can use the Dev team custom Firmware).
Jailbreak 3.1.2 Firmware [Easiest way on Youtube]
This Jailbreak is for All Iphone/iTouch devices.
This process will not update your Baseband, So if you didn't do the iTunes update, you will be able to use UltraSn0w to Unlock your device, if your baseband was updated via Itunes, you have to wait until someone creates a tool to Downgrade your baseband.
3G[s] Owners with pre-installed 3.1.2 Will need to use the Pawnagetool.

Tools you will need to Jailbreak your device.
1.Your Device
2.Your Custom Firmware
3.iTunes 9.0.1

•Steps for MAC/PC users.
1. Go to http://www.iphonefix.de
2. Under Upload news click any of the links
3. In the middle of the window click [Connect to iPhonefix FTP HighSpeed]
4. Once on the Server Click [Firmware System Custom/]
5. Download the correct firmware for your device [Best save on desktop]
. NONActivated Firmware for AT&T customers
. Normal Custom firmware for Non-AT&T Customers Ex. T-Mobile
6. After firmware is downloaded click and open iTunes and Connect Device
7. Click on your device
. [MAC]-Click and hold Option and then click {RESTORE}
. [PC]-Click and hold SHIFT and then click {RESTORE}
8. Browse to your desktop where you save your Custom Firmware and select it
•Sit back and let iTunes Back-Up your device and complete the restore
. When RESTORE is complete you can select Restore from Back-Up or Setup New Phone
•After Jailbreak is complete you will have Cydia/Icy on your Device.
