The patina solution is a mixture of salts and corrosives in a water soulution. It is barely toxic let alone corrosive to the skin. That being said, please read all product labels and use accordingly.

Rad.

so the metal paint rust's itself?

Make sure the paint has real metal flakes in it, not just metalic coloring. The galvanized steel and the metal paint will remain shiny, but adding the patina chemical will make them rust or oxidize very effectively. Thanks!
