@MagcialWorldOfMusic "I Can Sing a Rainbow" (also known as "Sing a Rainbow") is a popular song written by Arthur Hamilton. It was featured in the 1955 film Pete Kelly's Blues where it was sung by Peggy Lee. A recording of the song in a medley with "Love is Blue" reached number 22 in the US pop charts in 1969.[1]
This must be the original version of "I Can Sing a Rainbow". It might end up being a popular children's song. The Dells also did that in 1969 along with a version of Paul Mariat's #1 instrumental hit "Love Is Blue".
Until now, I'd never even heard this version. I'm more familiar with Cilla Black's. this one's catchy though and I like it.
