@narutogeese1 Well this is a college physics project. We completed it in first place accomplishing all objectives prescribed in the outline, and within the assigned budget. We're not trying to power an entire city. Perhaps you have designed a similar project with a similar budget ($50 USD) that produces higher wattage? If you have, please post a link!

Hey guys, I know a lot of you have asked how to build the generator and such so I am posting the site I got my ideas from. It has plenty of instructions and will give you a basic setup of how to build this.

all your doing is your paying water bills for energy bills......

@runner784 First of all the water is coming from a bucket sitting on higher elevation. Second, this was a project for "school" with limitations and a $50 spending limit. The water could easily have come from a river or lake if we were aiming for that.
