I hate it when the media, esp Hollywood, makes Christians look bad. I hate the fact that this video.degraded Christianity, and if not, then it definitely takes prayer and purity very lightly

This video was in no way intended to degrade Christianity or make light of Christian practices. The joke is that people often mask their true intentions with Christian motives, or use Christianity as an excuse for their actions. Prayer is an amazing way of speaking directly to our Creator and should never be underestimated, however often people will use the phrase "I'm praying for you" in a demeaning or judgmental way.

Purity should certainly be encouraged, but I don't think any of the examples given in this video were unrealistic or untrue. As far as the reference to God's will in the video, people often mistake Gods will for their own and use it as an excuse for their actions and decisions. I have encountered all of these while being at CBU, but this isn't meant to be an attack or even reprimand of Christianity, it is simply bringing to light the abuse of it in a humorous and joking manner.

I have never said any of these things my 5 years at CBU. This is embarrassing and degrading at best. The worst part is that you are stereotyping the school so people won't even think about coming. Most girls at CBU do not talk like this. Infact I have never encountered one who has...

You need to calm down, this video was made as a joke. I am a girl attending CBU and I certainly don't say any of these things, you shouldn't take it so personally. This is simply a humorous take on some typical CBU behavior by a very distinct group, and I believe the reason so many people have related to this video and it had grown in popularity is because people have witnessed these actions and heard similar comments made by these girls.

As far as deterring people from coming to CBU, I believe the school speaks for itself. There are many pros to attending CBU and many caring wonderful people. However there are certain students who are overly conservative and judgmental, which is not uncommon at any school. People have to decide for themselves if CBU is right for them. In the meantime I refuse to stop finding humor in situations and light heartedly poking fun for fear it may offend someone as sensitive as you.

I think this is funny, I didnt even go to a Christian college/University, Im a christian & Its funny cause some of these behaviours are seen everywhere, & majority of the people I hear saying these things seem like they ARE using God as a cover up & really arent saying these things sincerely..this video is great, a funny way of confronting these habits without being mean & hurtful. its like SNL.. We make ourselves look bad, others just catch on & build off of what we give them.

@extremeDDRplayer I went to a Private Christian high School that I could not stand and almost all of my graduating class went to either APU or Cal Baptist. I visited the school a few times and it was so insipid. I could not have been able to bear it. Alot of people were like that. Not all but a good number. People need to lighten up and laugh at themselves

@Musicforme89 you have got yo be kidding! you saying most girls are not like this clearly means that YOU are one of those girls...I only went there my freshman year and yes, a majority of the girls there DO IN FACT act and talk like that...it's a cool school if you have your parents paying for it, other than that, you might as well get a more credible degree from a UC or Cal State at a fraction of the cost...because everyone knows that ppl who do not live in the IE do not even know what CBU is
