The "Brass Gentry" was formed in 1975 by JK and was basically a Bavarian band made up of chart-reading brass band personnel. Eventually it evolved into what you are listening to here. This is Derek's big vocal number.
Bob Griffith Trumpet, Flugelhorn , vocals
Bill Tuhi, Guitar, Banjo, vocals
Derek Grundy, drummer and vocalist
Jenny Keatley, Bass, vocals
John Keatley, Tuba, trombone, ldr
This recording was made at the Waitangi Jazz Festival, Northland, NZ , 1988
