  • not as much as paving over pastures with concrete. not as much as deforestation. it simply pales in comparison with the scale of devastation wrought by late capitalism vis a vis industry

  • You realize the long term effect of these establishments remaining in place is far more destructive then the momentary destruction of the said place? In the long run their actions are beneficial. For example, the conflagration of a hummer causes a momentary release of toxins but prohibits that truck from ever being used, and causes financial damage, thus when one takes into account the long term effect, they are not 'morons'.

isn't there a better way to do it, rather than resorting to petty vandalism? All this will do is make people push away from the Animal Rights/Environmentalists.

You use violence, you'll get it in return

  • for all the people who say "america is the worst country ever" and "it has a horrible system and government". all i can say is LEAVE! go to antartica and go jerk off some seals or somthing

  • @mikezephyr Why are you using a computer if you don't like industry?

  • @adammar5hall True. But many of us believe we might as well do what we can to keep it going as long as possible.

  • @slapshotten11 Likewise for you. Yes, people should respect each other's property in an ideal world. However, people should also be looking at the destruction we cause, get our heads, materials, and (in most peoples' cases) tiny slivers of what little heart we do have in order, and save this world before it's totally gone.

Even for those people whose eyes aren't open to the fact that humans are mostly a disgusting, greedy, death-worthy race, that shouldn't be an impossible task.

  • @Malusregnum

Humans are not that strong physically, it is our intellect that makes us stand out amongst all other beings that we so far know of. I believe nature and technology can work perfectly hand in hand together in harmony, we just need to make some serious changes. lol, with your same logic of natural selection I can easily argue that the white race is superior to all others and that blacks should be wiped out. Humans stop themselves from acting natural, we are just simple primates.

  • Environmentalism has one fundamental problem: it assumes that life is a permanent fixture on Earth, and can only be harmed by human beings. Actually, organic life on this planet has been doomed since well before the dawn of man...

In 10,000-20,000 Years, Earth will experience an ice age that will kill many species.

In 200million yrs, plate techtonics will shut down.

In 6 Billion years, the earth will be engulfed by the sun and reduced to ash.

With or without humans, life will die.

  • @Canada1991 Why? the thing i hate about animal groups the most is you claim you want everything to be perfectly natural but you attempt to stop humans from acting natural. We are the strongest species to ever walk on this Earth, it is our god-given right for us to use it. The world is constantly changing, and this is the next phrase of its evolutionary stage, INDUSTRY, this is how life survives, the strongest life forms kill of weaker life forms.

  • The Earth is absolutely all we have really.... And animals are basically defenseless against humans expanding into their areas, not to mention poachers. The time to act is NOW! There is not much time left...
