ENPS March 2009 3-Gun Match

Eastern Nebraska Practical Shooters March 20093-Gun match, hosted by the Eastern Nebraska Gun Club. One rifle stage, one pistol stage, and one shotgun/pistol stage. Shot extremely poorly by T. Howard. (Who apparently couldn't shoot a rifle today.)

Actually, what got me on the pistol stage was the jam that I had---it took me 4.93 seconds to clear it and move on. Without it, I would have had a time of 22.76 on the stage, with a HF of 6.7223. (Which would have been much better than the 5.5255 that I got. It would have put me in 3rd place for pistol.)

My rifle is normally much better---for some reason during this match I was just shooting badly. Ah well. It was fun anyway!

You could have moved a little faster on the pistol stage. You had me bad on the shotgun stage and were so close on pistol that you would have won if not for rifle. Rifle is very different in that some people forget trigger control is still needed. I go a little too slow on rifle still but I have also been trying a lot of shooting on the move. try experimenting more when you are shooting the club suff!! it can't hurt you too bad! you are already a great shooter Tom!
