seriously, why waste money on an overpriced bundle of hardware thats a pain in the ass to upgrade, when u could just install linux for free on a pc that u can fully customize? or if u really want a mac-machine, u could put it on that too, and finally release its true potential...
either way, $110 leopard vs $0 Ubuntu, and you're suggesting to buy a whole mac? come on, be serious...

note: i love linux and mac os... basically it comes down to what you want to do with your computer. Telling someone to buy a mac for coming up with cool effects makes no sense. Telling people they should get linux on their computers also makes no sense unless you wanna offer them free tech support.

I like the panel but it didn´t run stable as I tested it :´(
I use windows but I´m going to change my OS to linux again :D

hahahah you guys funny... Stick with whatever you guys want.
Linux? good point, FREE, no Big Deal interface for games.
Mac, same thing... unless you want to keep looking for the screen... no good games.
Virus? PC is the man... So what is the point here?

Same old debate.. What is best OS.. Microsoft with Zindozs brought the common people ( u know, the guys that doesnt know that 1100 is C is 12, or doesnt know what ADD HL,#43 ( k, its Z80 but im fucking old atm ) means ) the computers in their homes and offices, Linux brought the meaning of FREEDOM to the community ( the guys that know what 1100 is )..
About MAC OS, i dont know if it brought something.. maybe serenity? no virus, no blue screen, no bullshit??

well, yeah... but in all fairness, thats not much of an argument for sayng which OS is better, because leopard was specifically designed to support the hardware Macs come with (which isnt a relatively large variety of hardware), whereas, ubuntu is aiming to work with as much pc hardware as possible, so naturally, its not going to perform nearly as well as if it were designed for any specific hardware, not to metion that a lot of manufacturers are to blame aswell for not releasing linux drivers.

it's not just about the price, it's about the operating system.. more customizable doesn't mean it's better. i could live with the rigid UI of OSX as long as it does the job. i installed ubuntu and i spent 2 days of sweat and tears to get my drivers to work *inefficiently*. with OSX, you just boot up and start using your computer.
