Alex, Lorin, Brian and Ken trying out snowbiking for the first time, near Coquihalla Lakes Lodge, March 12, 2011. Thanks to Nixon Prosport and our guides Glenn and Norm for taking us on an epic (for us squid) day with everything from high alpine meadows to tight trails through the trees to NO trails through the trees, with everything covered in bottomless, untracked fresh snow. Good times!!

Yah eh. I have a '12 Summit X and my wife has a '13 KTM500EXC / LT137 Timber Sled. She spent $2000 more than me, but she also has a killer bike for summer...

oh ok. I just figure most of the fun of sledding is the challenge. And with the go anywhere sidehiling capabilities of the Timber Sled, I thought it might be boring but. :/

not rlly its about the same except that when me and my freinds took our sleds and my timbersled kit snowbike up to keeler my sled couldnt go nearly as high or far as my snowbike did.

so if u just want power u can stick to sleds but if u want an adventure and the whole package id get a snowbike

I have never ridden one of these but I imagine it would be boring after awhile. I'll stick with my sled thanks

How do you figure? 10,000-14,000 for a new sled. for Half of that you can turn a one seasons toy in to a year round toy? I just bought a 450 with the intent of buying a kit rather than just spending money on a sled
