  • one of a kind man...

  • McCoy is spesial!!

  • McCoy is such a sweetheart!!!

  • Bela Fleck plays with a lot freedom.

  • i witness him playing live at the alcorn state university jazz festival in vicksburg mississippi and it was amazing and i got to ask him a question was r and b or jazz harder

  • wow contemplation is one of my all time favorite tunes

  • i remember kind of a discussion between metheny and marc ribot about bebop.

metheny is commercial. that's okay. an he is very into technical aspects. that's okay.

but i think: metheny and mccoytyner - well, maybe. but you know, what to expect.

i vote for the mccoytyner/ribot-thing. you can feel the music breathe. there is something going on, which is simply not in the natur of a metheny. that's not against metheny, it's just different worlds.

metheny's comment on ribot was arrogant.

  • Hi, do you know what the very first tune is on this video? The one right at the start, in the intro? I can't for the life of me find what it's called. Thanks very much!

  • The very first song on this video - what is it called? I saw them play at Nice Jazz Festival last week and love it, but can't find it on the playslist... Thank you!!
