Your argument is just retarded. That's like me saying, a LP-640 will smoke a GTR straight out of the factory. No sh*t. When you take cost into consideration, these comparisons are pointless.  The Mitsubishi Evolution & Subaru STi are STILL the best "all-around performance for under $50,000.

@cagednm69 Yeah it had frame supporters from the inside, but the car itself was stripped all the way. It did a high 7s pass. I thought it'd have a 4G but I guess not because apparently (according to the forums) the fastest 4G63 in the world is this one:

Look I'm not saying 4G isn't capable I was gonna buy a GS-T myself but there's a reason why LSx is so common in the drag racing scene even Europe or Asia where its not cheap.

It's the same engine design, but not the same block. They use forged racing blocks made from entirely different materials and with a very different process.

Couldn't find the 1750hp one either...sounds like BS.

It's not that impressive anyway. The most poweful 2JZ-GTE makes 2041HP. LSx's have gone well over 2500hp regularly.

@wildbloodydragon u dnt get it. the Supras and corvettes arent 2litre inline 4s.

Not sure about the Supras but a stock corvette will need major body modifications to take in more hp and then be able to drive on the streets

The 2litre 4g63's can withstand upto 1750hp

THere are evos using the same block to pump out 1200bhp and a few drag cars in US that pump out
