Lucy Mulenkei of the Indigenous Information Network in Nairobi introduces the East African Girls' Education, Leadership, and Rights Training Initiative, and the ten girls from indigenous communities participating in it. The program is the result of a partnership between U.S.-based non-governmental organizations (NGOs) Brighter Green and Tribal Link and three East African NGOs, the Indigenous Information Network, SIMOO and PAICODEO.
