Our assignment was to pitch a new ad campaign to Pizza Hut "executives" - the below is the basis for the 30 sec spot.
Visible kitchens are the centerpieces of the redesigned Pizza Huts. Watching eagerly from all angles will be awe-struck customers, ogling the quick hands and inventive pizza dough tricks performed by our newly hired staff (dubbed "Pizza Ninjas"), recruited from the United States Pizza Team. The new Pizza Hut has taken the mundane family-style restaurant and transformed it into a interactive, wildly entertaining stomach pang soothing destination. Pizza hut caters to the parents with young kids, who can't for the life of them get their tweens and teens to sit still at the dinner table or for the group of university students who are looking to upload a kitschy photo to their Facebook Page.
Outside the stores, we'll be taking over the Facebook feeds, the twitter sphere, food blogs, and the local newspapers with our online interactive scavenger hunt style-ed campaign supporting the release of 13 different exciting and inventive new wildly flavored and topped pizza pies.
Simultaneously Pizza Hut will more forward with using fresh and wholesome ingredients at affordable prices and further establishing these two factors as standards in the pizza industry.
When consumers think pizza hut, its going to be a no brainer that we compete on price and ingredient quality.
