Finnish singer Viktor Klimenko was born in Russia, but he had to move to Finland as an baby. He is talented singer and actor, who sings in Finnish, Swedish, Russian, English and German. At 70s he made traditional Russian songs and Cossack traditions familiar mainly in Northern European countries. This example is from his first album, Stenka Rasin from the year 1970.
I hope owners of the rights want to see this as an honor to this artist, which it really is. And same goes to these random photos, which I have found from net.
My hope is that everyone can just listen to this fine musician. Enjoy!
Its so nice, that you can still buy these recordings on CD, mine is an old vinyl album!

    I prefer this.

  • @pirjo1955 Hi Pirjo, yes, it is the same song, an old Russian classic, later known in English and other languages. :)

  • Underbart!

  • But who cares-I love Klimenko, no matter what he sings !

  • That sounds just like "Those were the days"
