OMG totally agree! I've never been as disappointed in my live! That concert was the turning point that made me a die hard Tarja supporter. And even the autograph session was cancelled, I was so mad -.- You were there or just saw the version?

Anette is hot and can sing well enough. Even better now than then. On a more important note, this is my favorite Marco vocal part ever! Such power, fucking excellent.

I don't get the issue with the fans of the singers. I think they both have good qualities and like both of them.

@KJHalonen As it happened, I didn't discover the band until Anette was the singer; so, I was a little surprised to find out there was so much friction between the Tarja fans and the Anette fans. But, in truth the problem seems to be all on the side of the Tarja purists. I have no problem listening to the older stuff, but I do like Anette better (probably because I heard her first). She sings in a purer tone than Tarja which I prefer in general. I, too, am so over the war. Who's better, who cares

Could everybody just shut up about Anette vs Tarja? Tarja's been gone for over six years. If you really care so much, forget about Nightwish and go listen to her solo project. This has all gotten really old. Maybe you don't like Anette, but don't forget, she wouldn't be in Nightwish if the band didn't want her there. When you insult Anette, you're just insulting the rest of the band and their judgment for the music that THEY write. A band is made up of more than just their singer.
