Van Halen was one of my favorite guitarists growing up. I just wonder a little--and maybe some of you would have some insight--why hasn't he branched out to do anything outside of Van Halen. Is it contractual?
Anyways, there's a big difference right there between BH and VH: BH has produced highly eclectic music spanning genres, and with a diverse set of musicians. VH has produced excellent music, but the range of styles is limited mostly to the tastes of 17 year olds.
