@sprecorina i've got 8" ones and they don't came with signal cables, but i had a lot already, so that didn't cause me any trouble. Don't know about 5" ones.
Can give you 1 tip: If your source is close enough ( cables will be not longer than 3-5 meters) better to use RCA (cuz they are a bit cheaper and most sound cards use RCA/JACK, if more than 5 meters - use TRS/XLR cables. And yes, even if your source is closer to one speaker than another, use same lengh cables anyway.

@sprecorina well, if you want semi-pro stuff go for ADAM, but they will cost A LOT more i think. 5" ones must be combined with the sub, but if you need them only for voice control they are OK. 5" is definetly not enough for real sound monitoring (cus they can't produce sound lower than 50Hz) so you will need sub for them, and they are better for club/house music than anything else.
