The Gentle Touch TV theme (Slow Version)

This is the slow version of the music from the 1980's police series, The Gentle Touch. The theme varied in length depending on how much time they had left at the end of the episode and I've added an extra middle section here so that I could cram in more pics. Great acting, great writing, great theme. Enjoy!

@DarkOracleCentral 'Gentle Touch' series 5 has just been released.

It was the final season BUT Jill Gascoine's Maggie Forbes character returned in the series 'C.A.T.S. Eyes'.

As for 'Juliet Bravo', the series was boring in an early 'The Bill' way AND the female lead looked like a lezbo. I know it is closer to reality (especially for London's Metropolitan police) than the glamorous femininity of Jill but who wants to watch women that look like weird little men on prime-time TV?

I loved this version, even though it seemed to repeat a few too many times in the middle, it was a nice slow tempo, compared to the standard tv intro version.

I've just found The Gentle Touch series 1 - 4 available on Amazon, and Juliet Bravo.

Absolutely superb! It was very nice having the version that was available on CD some years ago but WASN'T! the same as the tv version, this is a fantastic edit. Cheers buddy. Do you have anymore edits of this or other London Weekend progs?

I love the slow theme to this series. Written by Roger Webb. I just wish this could be made available commercially in it's original and full length glory. Would also like to know if this music was specially commissioned for the series or just taken from one of the music library production companies such as de-wolfe or KPM. I've always preferred the slower version to the more faster uptempo version. Thanks for posting and the added middle section that you added is so seamless.
