because i have one of these growing in my living room, when i bought them i asked the company what kind they were.

@MrTuffgongrecords How are you even sure what species it is? This particular specimen has no fruit or flowers yet.

@bamboo555 They're not, Bananas can be sprouted from seeds, but they'll be tiny bananas.

they are actually Musa Velutina. they are edible but they dont look like the bananas in the grocery store

He's selling Ensete ventricosum, which isn't edible unless you like chewing quarter sized seeds in a nasty pulp.
