Kelly Clarkson shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as these other canned-marketing schemes who strip and learn dance moves to make videos so the corrupt-music industry can manipulate the masses into spending millions of dollars on canned-music. Susan Boyle is a genius singer, but because she's 47 and plain, she's not plastered everywhere; and, yet, when she was discovered she out-sold all the "hip" bands. Canada's Alanis has evolved into a true artist too.

After hearing this awful performance, I wish that Janis Joplin hadn't died at 27, like so many of the musicians of her era, who were truly brilliant and gifted. "Video Killed the Radio Star" and you can blame MTV (new-wave 1980s) for that. Kelly would never get air-time if Radio was still the medium people gathered around for news and music and entertainment. And let's be honest, she's been given opportunity to prove herself because she's Ozzy's daughter. I'm not being contentious, just honest.
