Please help me i just pressed that X button where was all my move selection scale tool box how i can get it back please help me?

I have 3ds max but when I open it the viewports are showing my wallpaper. I try restarting and it keeps saying virtual creation failed or something. Anyone got a solution?

@TheClutchpunch Well Maya I learned myself :/ and with max I'm currently doing a course, but I have learnt the bare basics and already they expect us to model a car XD, but when I get better at Max I will be doing tutorials on PolygonCore and this catapult may be my first :D, but just hold on for Max tutorials mate!

@aaronh678 OK cool:-) were or how do you learn these programs? i acquired Inifinite Skills Learning 3Ds Max 2012 Part 2 to help me with maxs but i don't have any maya or mudbox learning DVDs so i'm sorta relying on you lol...
