  • for gaining strength, do you do approx. 3 sets of a very small amount of reps for example 4 reps per set?? I want to gain strength and muscle mass.... your advice could really help me out bro!

  • @NEILTRIVEDI heh there's no answer which answers all! You gotta find your own route! :) My advice = get on a PROGRAM. Learn from a program how your body works. do 1 program for 6-12 months, then try another restart that program or begin another program

  • Can you explain a little about the "carb up days" you do? What's the purpose?

    I started my cut 2 weeks ago. Accurately tracking my calories. But not seeing results as fast as you did for some reason. :(

  • @xVincentx26 perhaps it's the goals part bro. Just because you track what you're eating doesn't mean you'll lose weight. What you gotta do is USE that data to analyze your results and drive your future decisions.

    there's always options such as:

    increase cardio (by a TRACKABLE AMOUNT)

    decrease carbs or fat (KEEP TRACK OF EVERYTHING)

  • Is the jm press the same as skull crushers in a way, if they are done right?

  • @kentpickle check the instructional video. They're slightly different.

    1. 45 degrees shoulder to elbow angle

    2. bring bar down to chin/neck/low neck

    3. I think of it as halfway between a closegrip bench and a skullcrusher

  • if you don't lower your elbows it definitely becomes a skullcrusher, and i think what separates the JM from a skullcrusher is the elbow lowering

  • Sup Matt! I'm gonna start my cutting phase in December. Could you tell me the basic layout of your cutting diet because I've cut before and I messed up. I lost a good amount of strength my first time and my muscles were flat.

    Basically, I want to keep as much strength as I can and keep as much muscle as I can.
