As all of you jumpers can see, the other Karateka kicked his butt. Come on! That's the problem with Karate Do (specially the WKF) someone touches someone else just a bit, and all of them cry like babies. Suck it up!!! It is Karate Do, NOT Ping Pong.

@dariochircop Agreed, at the end of the video you can hear him say "Aka - hansoku chui" (literally, "Red competitior, foul play warning")
-
damn!! i love the japanese language

You know that shit hurted.

@torro454 I agree ...The Shotokan tournaments I went to were pretty liberal and vague when it cam to contact. I saw no DQ's and there were quite a few knock downs etc...with full contact...but always called marginal by the judges
-
@farcasterx Completely agree. A lot of knockouts and injuries ocur because of stepping straight back. You hit it right on the nail.
-
Yet another reason not to back straight up. The loser needs to work on his footwork to evade on an angle. Easier said than done, but lesson learned !
-
ya he cracked him pretty good in the cheak area, extremely easy to fracture....
Actually the referee did give a warning (pointed finger) and not a point (open hand)
