  • I have another question haha. I just bought a tanabe concept g for my R18. Did you install the exhaust yourself? Are there some good guides online bc I really don't want to pay a shop to bolt it on for me

  • good choice on the exhaust. i really like that one its a bit louder then mine but not overly loud. i know theres a video posted on 8thcivic that shows a shop install the skunk2 exhaust in like 10 min. i got the dealership to do mine but i wish i would of done it myself. its just completly bolt on and is easy as hell. if u have a jack and stands and a socket set u can do it yourself in half hour. good luck and enjoy it

  • hey man, 8thgencivic ftw! haha. I have a question about your tanabe. People on the forums say that tanabe is one of the quieter axlebacks, but from watching this vid, it seems kinda loud. Is it because of the camera ? The way I judged the "loudness" is by seeing how far the car was away from the camera (while I can still hear the exhaust), and I could hear your car when it was at the end of the block haha. Lemme know b/c I'm really interested in getting a tanabe

  • lol ya 8thcivic is awsome. well what your mainly hearing in this video is the cold air intake. its also a cat back exhaust, i dont think they come with just the axleback. i could be wrong. but what you heard on the fourms it true. it is really quiet and if u have an auto like me then i would highly reccomend. its louder then stock for sure but nothing close to the skunk2 or Greddy.

  • also it is one of the more expensive exhaust for our cars almost doubble the price of the skunk2. payed alomst 1k after install here in canada. well good luck and if u have any more question dont be shy

  • Is that Fujita CA-1920 or CA-1926?

    thanks.

  • its 1926 if u have an auto

  • thanks for the reply man! I'm thinking of putting in a fujita CAI and a tanabe axleback (not the full exhaust). Hope it sounds as sick as yours haha!

  • no idea this is an auto so i'm thinking ca-1920 since u stated 1926 was for manual. i will see if i can find the box and ill let u know for sure
