Skid Row "18 And Life" w/ original vocalist Matt Fallon

This is the original demo of Skid Row's "18 And Life" featuring the original vocalist, Matt Fallon (later replaced by Sebastian Bach). I got to see Skid Row in the clubs before their debut hit the record stores but only after Sebastian Bach had gotten the gig. It would have been interesting to compare the two...

Fallon is an interesting figure... Before this he was the lead singer for Anthrax, leaving the band just before they recorded "Spreading The Disease" (replaced by Joey Belladonna). He then joined Skid Row, only to be replaced by Sebastian Bach. Fallon literally eluded huge success not once but twice. While he may not have the sheer ferocity of Bach, you can see he was a fine metal vocalist in his own rite. Enjoy.

@FunLovingCriminals77 He added lyrics to one song, but Dave and Rachel did most of the songwriting themselves. Fallon co-wrote one... Most songs were done and Sebastian just had to learn the lyrics and the melodies.

Noone should badmouth the guy! hes a great vocalist. to be fair name one singer with a voice like bach?! he is incredibly unique. fallon rocks in his own right and i think this is a great version of the song.

Skid row never lacked vocalists.The fact that sebastian bach was excellent does not automatically mean the rest suck.

Thank you from the deep of my heart for posting it. I'm a fan of Skid Row since 1992, but I never knew there was a singer before Sebastian. I find he sing very well (even if I better like Seb' for all the intensity he put in his voice).
