Ron Paul On Drugs & Prostitution. Self Ownership & Liberty Means Responsibility & Personal Freedom

Please share this video with your family and friends. The 2012 Republican Presidential Debates have just started and Ron Paul started them out with a $1,000,000.00+ money bomb bang. Many people are asking has anything changed from the 2008 Fox News ran Presidential Debates. Yes and No. The good side is many of the debaters are more liberty minded then four years ago. That is, Ron Paul has changed the name of the game to personal liberty and fiscal responsibility. And if people really know to care about these subjects now then that makes for a far better chance for Ron Paul. On the flip side, the system, that is the Fox News ran debates still asks a lot of Neo Conservative minded question and tries to shame Ron Paul with his own world view, the same world view that made him famous and loved to began with. Ron Paul is asked about his view that states should be able to make their own laws about Drugs and Prostitution, that these subjects should not be handled and the federal level. Ron Paul gives a answer about defending liberty, that all people enjoy their own liberty but if they really believed in liberty then they would allow others to enjoy their own brand of personal freedom as well. He also joked about the idea that someone would need government so badly to tell him how to live every detail of their life that if drugs were to be made legal nothing would stop the people that have no interest in doing drugs from doing drugs right away. That is, the idea that people need the government to protect them from them selfs. It is this later subject that has been brewing in my mind for the last few days and so I use this as a spring board to talk about the perceptual immaturity that is dependency on Government. I talk about the nature of Government (the monopolization of force), personal freedom and growing up.

@idamasta Thanks man, that means a lot. Most of my videos right now have been getting 100-200 views. I have learned to be happy with this, that is I don't feel disappointed. @emorganschuster62 I don't know how closely you follow this subject, but did you know that the financial derivatives collapse and TARP was due to an SEC audit? Wacovia bank was involved in laundering money for cocaine cartels and used the money to back sub-prime mortgages. The SEC investigated, the drug cartels withdrew their money and BLAM!..no mo backing! When everyone started to default due to their ARMs prematurely re-adjusting BLAM!... and the dominoes have been falling ever since!

Most of the media treats RP like crap. The only one who really is fair and balanced is Judge Napolitano on Freedom Watch. In fact I feel the Judge would be an excellent VP for RP. Great video keep up the good work !

You're absolutely right! They don't want full discourse in these "debates". I'm sure you've read "Amusing Ourselves To Death"... That book talks about this in detail. It's really sad what politics has come to. The most disgusting I've heard is the "heroin" and "slavery" arguments!
