Black&White::A Nick Jonas Oneshot

I randomly wrote a oneshot becuase this happened to me. Not the exact way but in the same context. Enjoy.

BLACK&WHITE
A Nick Jonas One Shot


He grabbed my hand as we stood outside the door that led to the long hallway into school. I was worried,, really worried. He looked over at me with a sincere smile and I looked into his chocolate brown eyes.

"Dont worry. Dont ever worry." He grabbed both of my hands. My eyes fell twards the floor,, I felt the tears brimming the lids.

"Sky,,Skylar..." He lifted my chin with his thumb. I quickly wipped away the loose tears that were about to start to pour He chuckled and looked into my eyes. "Dont worrk about them, They're all jealous that they dont have what we do." He smiled one of his rare but breathtaking smiles.
Nick Jonas. The love of my life.

We met at summer camp two summers ago when we both got stuck taking care of the preschoolers. We hung out the entire season and by the end,, neither of us really minded daycare duty.

But when we both met up a year later at James Darling High, both of our lives changed. We instantly started to fall in love. The feeling I get when he looks into my eyes is crazy. Making my chest tighten and my heart skip beats. Nothing could break us apart.
Not even this.

He let go of one of my hands,, causing it to fall limp at my side. With one reassuring smile,, he pushed open the doors of the school. Eyes immideatly fell on us. Coversations were silenced. People stopped walking.
Nick and I just kept walking.

"Why is he with her??" One guy whispered. The sad part was it was one of his friends. I started to tear up again before he squeezed my palm,,like he knew what I was thinking. I sighed and smiled. Girls snarled,, guys snickered.
All becuase I was different.

No matter how many Martin Luther King speeches our school gets or assemblys about racisim,, it doesnt change a thing. Most kids at JDH are racist.
It sucks to be one of the only black girls at a racist school,, doesnt it??

But Nick understands. He gave up all popularity for me. For us. Nick was always there though. When girls in my class laughed or threw papers with racial slurs,, he was my shoulder to cry on. When jocks made fun of me in gym,, Nick was always there to defend me.

But life still sucks. Underneath it all where no one can see. Not my parents and not even Nick,, I want to die. Everytime I get mutters and glances it tears me up inside and inches me twards the idea of killing myself. But killing myself would be selfish. Killing myself would only benefit me.
Who would kids taunt??
Who would Nick Love??

But other times,, when no ones around but Nick,, the world stops. The feeling he gives me when he's around could block out all the mutters and stares. Nothing matters when im with him.
Nothing.

"Hey! Skylar! Why dont you date someone your own color!" Someone yelled from down the hall. The tears started comming again. I sniffled and Nick stopped walking. He turned to face me,, forcing me to look up into his deep eyes. With everybody watching,, he leaned down to kiss me softly on the lips. The hallways fell silent and everyone stopped laughing,,talking,,maybe even breathing. Just then the bell rang and Nicks lips and mine were still connected. Once the hallways cleared he pulled away,, starring down at me intensly.

"They dont matter. I chose you. Jealousy doesnt look good on anyone,, especially a whole school." He took my hands from around his neck and folded them with his.
His hands fit in mine perfectly.
Like two peices,, of a black and white puzzle.

OMG Jessi!!!

:( Don't worry I think we have all been there in a stuaion like this before. I know i was. When I was younger i was chubby .. ok VERYY chubby and ppl did make fum of tht and treated me HORRIBLE !!!

To me that was sorta like Racism but in a differnt stuation :( . Im here for you hun!!

the story was awesome!! amazing writing!! i cant believe those ppl!! its so stupid how ppl make fun of colored ppl, makes me so upset!! if u think bout it we are all colored when im sick i turn green and im embarress i turn red, so yeah ppl really should stop doing that!! dont listen to them they are idoits!! anyways loved the story!! :D

this is an amazing one shot. i don't get how people can be so mean to someone just because of their race. i went to a school for five years where me, my brother, and only one other guy was asian. it totally sucked. i eventually had to switch schools. but awesome story. i loved it.
