I thought it was only me but I see that I am not the only OLD cry baby listening to Roy. I never dreamed that a big strong manly man of 71 still had a fountain of tears to shead for his mama. Roy's great voice, range and words can touch a old dry stone and turn it into a lake of tears.

Oh,tears are running down my face. I love this song! It makes me cry every time I hear it. I have been looking for it on some of Roy's CD's that are out. I had the original album, but lost it in Katrina. I lost a lot of albums but was able to save all of my 45's. I have a lot from the 60's.
Beautiful tribute to your Mother. I am a female but still crazy for this song and Roy.

Thanks for the comments. I have always been a sucker for a good tearjerker song and this is one of the best. If you feel comfortable sending me your email address and your home address I would be happy to burn you a copy of the Roy Orbison greatest hits cd that I have that song on.... Sorry about your loss in Katrina. We are originally from Fl and have been through lots of storms but never had any losses. Hope to hear from you again but best of luck either way.....
