I was so shocked at the time, but now that I know that she did in her shoulder on that, all I can say is MAD PROPS. Her Dad said,"We discussed that if the shoulder goes, she stops the routine. We never discussed what happens if the shoulder goes in Team Finals at worlds."

Yes she did. It is the injury that kept it out of competition for over a year.
It is amazing that she continued with the pain and all. She is truly amazing.

You know what will really suck?
Memmel played team player and competed after practically breaking her shoulder not only finishing bars but going to beam and floor which kept her injured for over a year and now being a team player might just keep her off the US team.

she really could have been bars and AA champ again. she was 1st coming into the AA final but dropped out cause of her arm. she could have done it. back 2 back world AA titles . like shanon.

Wow, what a gutsy girl:) How on earth she managed to just shrug off the pain and carry on is beyond me; she has got bigger ones than any man I know, if you know what I mean?
