Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole hits theaters on September 24th, 2010.

Cast: Sam Neill, Geoffrey Rush, David Wenhem, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Emilie de Ravin, Ryan Kwanten, Abbie Cornish, Emily Barclay, Helen Mirren, Jay Laga'aia, Miriam Margolyes

Acclaimed filmmaker Zack Snyder makes his animation debut with the fantasy family adventure "Guardians of Ga'Hoole," based on the beloved books by Kathryn Lasky. The film follows Soren, a young owl enthralled by his father's epic stories of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole, a mythic band of winged warriors who had fought a great battle to save all of owlkind from the evil Pure Ones.

While Soren dreams of someday joining his heroes, his older brother, Kludd, scoffs at the notion, and yearns to hunt, fly and steal his father's favor from his younger sibling. But Kludd's jealousy has terrible consequences-causing both owlets to fall from their treetop home and right into the talons of the Pure Ones. Now it is up to Soren to make a daring escape with the help of other brave young owls. Together they soar across the sea and through the mist to find the Great Tree, home of the legendary Guardians of Ga'Hoole-Soren's only hope of defeating the Pure Ones and saving the owl kingdoms.

  • this is zack snyder's best!

  • where;s skip the bitch?!

  • watched the movie when it came out i think its like the best movie ever ive watched it about 10 times and about to watch it again :D

  • sorry, SceneCris is right, not @holanoobs...sorry, my mistake...

  • @holanoobs is right, they have to make the movie appealing to others as well so they don't spend millions of dollars only to get barely half of it back. I thought the movie was good even if it didn't follow the plot exactly-the only thing that matters is that it is entertaining. Books and moves are completely different. Books-you have to imagine, turn the words on the page into pictures in your mind. Movies are just to watch with your eyes and to listen with your ears. But the books ARE better.

  • Thumbs up if you think this movie is beyond adventure and time. (it means just if it is the best movie in beauty and adventure)

  • Wicked even if I did get into more than me daughter .... effects are mind blowing

  • @holanoobs shut up. i've read the books and own the movie. They did the best they could with the movie to follow the plot line of the books, but they have to make it appeal to everyone not just those of us that have read the books. If you want them to bring the Pure Ones and the hagsfiends into the story then they have to feel like people are actually gonna see the movie so that they don't blow their money on the project.

  • i wanna see
