October 6, 2011 "Stop the Machine Create A New World" demonstration/occupation

An occupation of Washington DC's Freedom Plaza began on October 6, 2011 to protest ongoing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the growing power, arrogance, and danger of corporations in American politics and society.
