Diggin' the pad, but you're playing the wrong way. x.x First, as it's been mentioned, socks are for the non-metal pads. Secondly, you've gotta move a bit more. I saw that you're the type of player who doesn't really move the upper body except to rotate. DDR isn't about the score, as much as it's about the moves and the style. Sure, a good score is good, but you've gotta throw in your flare. >.o

Cobalt Flux is most likely out of business, as for the websites where I found them for sale they are either out of stock or the prices have risen extremely to a well 1k

@ManOfDeath567 of course it's in business! i got mine a month ago. you should get it! it's the best! the only downside is that it doesn't include a bar like other pads do.

@surfergurll91 Thanks! I would still be considered an average player in the DDR world... I could never do those super super fast ones. I remember the first time I got a home DDR pad, the really cheap plastic foam ones (it was soo cool the first time!), all I did was keep hopping up and down (total beginner actions) through the entire song, even though it only had a few arrows -- lots of wasted movements. haha it just takes practice.
