Soul Meets Body || Lost

This video is made completely through screencapped images to create the stop-motion effect. I'm putting this out there first because it took me a long time to cap the images/get the bluray quality so even if you've never seen Lost before, I'd really appreciate it if you'd watch this.

What can I say besides the fact that Lost is my one true TV love. I may really like other shows, but Lost will always be my favorite TV show. There may come a day where another show might take it's place but I sincerely doubt it. My favorite book has been Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban since 2000 and my favorite show has been Lost since 2005. I'm pretty sure neither is changing anytime soon.

Overall this is a cast video but I see it more as my own personal Lost filmography. Or rather island filmography. I choose all scenes that I thought had beautiful imagery or that connected the characters to the island and to each other. This song was perfect for both the stop-motion aspect of the video as well as the island aspect. And I love Death Cab. :)

And if you catch a glimpse, I put my namesake in the video. Gotta stick to my roots.

This is completely amazing. I don't even have words for this. Honestly. And I'm really picky about the Lost videos I like because I think Lost is the best show ever and for someone to fit all the many emotions and many characters of it into one video I think is hard...but this video has seriously got be one of the best I've seen. And I think all the time you took to do the screen caps was worth it. This is awesome. Favorited :)

[cont'd] hope and wonder they felt -- mixed with fear, yes, but a sort of awe (in the original meaning of the word) -- and how that turned, through time, to a sort of horror because of what people could do to each other. At least, that's how I took Ben's place in the narrative. And how that created loss. Then loss --> Sacrifice --> Hope, which is how the story's structured in the show.

Anyway, I thought it was really well done. Great job.

As a screencapper and icon maker I had to watch it the first time through counting screencaps because it kept distracting me. The sheer number of caps this must have taken is incredible. Yet the motion is jumpy -- so you succeeded in the stop motion effect -- but not so much that it's impossible to follow it/throws you out of the narrative. On a technical level this is seriously impressive.

On the second run-through... I like how you didn't do exactly a recap but you did start with the [tbc]
