"I Really Don't Want to Know" written by Don Robertson and Howard Barnes in 1953 was featured on Joni James 1962 album, Joni James Country Style, recorded in Nashville. It was released on a CD, Joni James Sings Songs of Hank Williams/Country Style, released on the Taragon label in 2005.

Have heard this song done by many artists. Such a wonderful tune! And Joni (as always) makes it HER own, thanks to her lovely voice & her usual gorgeous arrangement! I'm grateful to you, John, for sharing this treasure with me...and also I greatly appreciate catman's posting it! :)

Thanks very much for all the oldies you've posted. They are really wonderful reminders of an era when life was simpler, people were more gentle and time was less demanding. Songs of that period also were diversions from the stark poverty that surrounded my generation in colonial Singapore.
