Metroseen | The Reel Story. Engaging Local Video Spots!

Bhakti Chai is a micro-brewed, fresh-pressed ginger chai made in Boulder, Colorado with only fresh, fair-trade ingredients, including over 800 pounds of organic ginger every week.

While traversing India studying a social justice movement based on Bhakti, or devotion through social action, Brook Eddy first discovered spice-laced chai. Upon returning from India, when Brook couldn't find a chai that resembled "special" or masala chai, she began brewing her own at her home in Nederland, CO. Her first bottling process began as she gave holiday gifts to friends in mason jars with hand-written Kabir poems as labels. The company grew as friends returned the empty bottles, asking for refills, and the more people tasted this delicious brew, the more they wanted. Brook knew she wanted to make something healthy, spicy, and inspiring. She enjoys sharing "India in a cup".

Bhakti Chai was born in 2006 with the vision of social action within enterprise, and a premium brand rooted in Ayurvedic healing and a spicy flavor profile. From its inception, Bhakti Chai has not only been profitable, but practices sustainable and socially responsible principles by offering re-usable packaging, Fair Trade and Organic ingredients, zero waste manufacturing, and supports local and international nonprofit organizations that work to empower women and girls.
