Clearly this video is sarcasm. That means it's supposed to be funny! I guess a lot of MMA fans have been hit in the head too many times to tell the difference between a spoof and the real thing. Check out the website he's promoting. They're selling tickets to a fight! BTW, John McCain campaigned against UFC, calling it human cockfighting.

There are more deaths in boxing because fighters take more blows to the head than in mma. Gloves help fighters take more punishment and they have quite a bit more padding on boxing ones than mma ones. Also the fact that the standing 8 count allows fighters who are clearly cracked to continue fighting which is far more dangerous than in mma where you are allowed to land a few strikes to a hurt opponent who isnt defending himself and the ref will stop it.
