  • This sketch makes a good point about advertising. You'd never hear a commercial say something like "Point-four off the regular price!" or "Now with 5/10 more chips in every cookie!" The word "percent" just makes the number sound bigger, even if it means the same thing.

  • I once hurt myself on a .7. I'm still a little scarred by the whole incident...

    I think it's the 70 that sounds bigger than the 7, and that's what makes it better for advertising. but that's just me.

  • Well Harry's Hamburger Haven and Diet Lite Wet sketches are equal.

  • Don't forget a stereo from "Stefan's Stereo Stuff". THAT along with Harry's and Dite Lite is the third decimal/fraction/percentage skit on Square One.
