It all comes down to the drivers, it seems. The GTR driver is novice; he makes unpredictable movements and excessive inputs, unsettling balance of a car. If driven that way, the car feels nervous but it's nowhere near the liimt. GT3 pilot on the other hand, is smoother and consistent. No wonder GTR can't shake him off.

@bogueji1 totally right. when driven on the edge, GTRs are almost impossibe to catch.

great video .. i've driven both of these, 2 sensational cars, the best there is, but so so different in every way... a fine bespoke burgundy vs. a can of special brew.. great precise and smooth driving by the RS pilot

The Porsche driver is unbelievably good. A lot more skilled than the GTR driver. Good little battle though. Wonder what it would have looked like with a newer GT3 RS.

ALMOST. Every car has a limit, the GTR just happens to have its limit a little bit blurred.
