Dripping Springs Tiger Band at the 2011 Friendswood Marching Contest, 10/1/11, Finals

The Dripping Springs Tiger Band performs their 2011 marching show "451", featuring the music of Dimitri Shostakovich at the 2nd Annual Friendswood Marching Contest Finals Competition on October 1, 2011. The Band placed 1st in Class 4A in Prelims, winning caption awards for Outstanding Visual Performance and Outstanding Music Performance. They placed 2nd overall in Finals, 4 tenths of a point behind the 1st place 5A band, winning the caption awards for Outstanding Colorguard and Outstanding Visual Performance.

I love this show!!It left me speechless at UIL!Im from New Braunfels i go to Canyon and im in love with this show more then ours!I cant wait to see yall at the alamo dome!Even our bands not going im skipping school to go:D

I play Xylo in the Fwood HS band. Our show is entitled "751", based on the Dies Irae, a melody first composed in 1260 AD and used in all kinds of music over the last 751 years.

But guess who's gotten a million times better and is gonna win at Sam Houston tomorrow? Dickinson Gator Band is.

@dshsbandgeek yo, i'm from clements high school (the guys that beat you this year, lulz). in any case, i remember watching this performance with my friends in the stands and afterwards we were legitly scared that you guys beat us in finals. you guys are really really good. keep it up.
