SAMMY IS A BETTER DANCER THAN MJ. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO DOUBT.

MJ had a lot of movie edits.

Sammy was LIVE in yo face IN FRONT OF A STUDIO AUDIENCE.

The real moves yo EYES CAN'T SEE. MJ had the best moonwalk, but was not the creator of any dance form. Jefferey Daniels from Soul Train creating the moonwalk and it was shown first on SoulTrain. MJ was taught the moonwalk....and Janet Jackson? See Paula Abdulah that was her choreographer. Janet is awesome performer...multi -talented

Sammy is awesome. James Brown, MJ, and the likes never had the skills of Sammy. MJ was what is called a modern dancer. Sammy is a professional dancer that grew up on the big screen. Sammy starred in movies as a child and much younger than MJ. those that really want to learn the history just read up on lil SD. Nothing to be angry about...."Standing Room Only." And yes I've taught dance for years-too! And yes I've been trained to dance and I have the natural ability too.

@ClaireSosebeeSings Aww, man...why you have to go there! Flip is the perfect example of a consumate performer. He would do just about anything to win his audience. Not many could compare-even in terms of sheer drive! Thanks for reminding me of another great one in his time or in any other time.

You can't even put MJ in this category because it's a totally different kind of dance. Yes MJ could tap a little but Sammy was an expert at it!

That's no dis to MJ because he was a funky dancer, the absolute best at it, Sammy wasn't.

@ipanemaish I agree but that's the difference, because they inspired more ppl than other average singers. Even tho they dont always get the respect, they changed popular music and dance! That's why MJ has an important place in american culture, because he knew who started and what and when, but they always denied it, untill he came and dominated it all. But like he sang on his tribute to Sammy; he always knew they were there before him. Blacks changed music & dance :) <3
